A full scholarship for high schoolers is available. and for the full academic year around $47,000. In general for a non-Canadian student, tuition costs for a semester around $32,000 U.S. However at ports of call, which typically last 3-6 days, students can use the telephone and internet cafes all they want. On board the ship, students are not allowed to have satellite telephone nor satellite internet access.

Got a fear of heights? Well, students are not required to climb the rigging, but if they pass a physical fitness test, they can climb the rigging. This could include navigation, hoisting sails, climbing rigging, maintenance work, or standing watch. The watch group is responsible for operating the ship. What do you do on a ship at sea? Students perform 2 hours of day watch and 2 hours of night watch each day.
